** CLARIFICATION ON FORMS: Concussion training is linked to an athlete's physical, so it will not appear as having been completed until there is a physical on file with the athletic office. If someone takes the concussion training, but has not turned in a physical, it will remain unlinked until a physical is submitted. If you have completed the concussion training, but have not submitted your physical, your name will NOT appear on the concussion training completed list. Once a physical is on file, concussion training taken earlier can be linked to the physical. Lists of physicals & concussion training are compiled by the athletic trainer. It takes up to 48-hrs, from the time a physical was submitted, to process it and link it to concussion training. Near the start of tryouts, when there are always last minute submissions, the athletic trainer tries to update the list of physicals/concussions by the afternoon of the day following submission. It can be overwhelming though, with so many last minute submissions!
**
TO ENSURE YOU CAN TRY OUT, PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR FORMS (PARTICULARLY YOUR PHYSICAL) AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! You do not need to wait until the last minute.

Did I Make the Team?

RSD is a varsity only sport unlike most other sports at RSS. Ability level and times vary every year depending on the level of those trying out for the team. Athletes able to swim times from previous seasons, may not make the team, if those trying out are particularly fast. Conversely, if those trying out are slower, some years athletes may make the team that might not have made it previous years.

Robinson athletics feels that athletes that tryout for a sport should be told in person whether they made the team and, if they didn't, what they can do to improve their chances for next year. Given that, the RSD coaching staff will meet with students at the posted times to let them know their status. The swim & dive roster will be posted on this website when available.
